Cleveland Testimonials

Attendee Testimonials from the 2009 Cleveland Conference:

  • This conference was so amazing there really are no words to explain everything I feel. I grew closer to my fellow adoptees and met so many more wonderful people in the community. Joining AAC has changed my life and made me a stronger person; just knowing there are so many others that share my heart and soul brings peace to my everyday life. (Adoptee)

  • This was my first adoption conference. I cannot tell you how much I benefitted from the variety of presentations offered. The meetings gave me a whole new outlook on everyone in the adoption triad. Thank you for your part in bringing this wonderful event to Cleveland. (Adoptive parent)

  • ?It was an excellent conference and I am so glad I came. I was only sorry I did not stay longer. I did find it a wonderful mix and I did buy tapes for days I was not there. Congratulations on a wonderful conference. (Presenter)

  • I LOVED LOVED LOVED being at the conference. I haven't been able to come to an AAC conference since Atlanta. It is always a fabulous community of people, ideas and opportunities for learning. Thank you for providing such an incredible experience. (Adoptee)

  • This is one of the best conferences I've been to. I attended Thursday and Friday and wish I could have been there for the entire conference. (Professional)

  • My daughter and I both feel that this conference was the best thing we could have ever done for ourselves. We learned that others are feeling and going through some of the same things we are. Not ever being exposed to other birth parents or adoptees, I didn't know that we weren't alone in our issues. The experience of spending 3-1/2 days with so many people who were on the same page that we were made it hard to leave. I felt like I needed to go find everyone we met and tell them goodbye until the next time. (Birth mother who attended with her daughter)
